Applied to Architecture … Admitted to University College Undeclared

Students who meet university freshman admission requirements will be admitted as an Undeclared major rather than Architecture if they fail to do the following:

  • complete a fourth year of advanced mathematics (algebra 3, precalculus, trigonometry, analysis, etc.) in high school
  • submit their application to the University by January 31
  • submit a completed questionnaire to the architecture department after being admitted into the University as a Pre-Architecture student.

Admission into the College of Architecture is highly competitive and applicants are considered for the fall semester only. The College of Architecture recommends that you complete course work in English, mathematics, science, and art in your freshman year.

An academic adviser in the University College will assist you in course selection. Below is a sample schedule that an advisor may outline for you.
