Hello Future 49er!

Greetings from North Carolina! My name is Barbara Seyter and as an Associate Director of Admissions at UNC Charlotte, I work with out-of-state students throughout the admissions process. It is my goal to help you not only learn more about UNC Charlotte, but also about the city of Charlotte, as it is truly an extension of our campus.

The first step to becoming a 49er is to come and see us! I invite you to visit our campus at your earliest convenience. Please come join us for one of our spring EXPLORE programs or for one of our daily tours and information sessions. Tours are available Monday-Friday at 2:00 pm and on Saturday at 10:00 am in Cato Hall, the admissions building.

To truly experience all that Charlotte has to offer, I encourage you to make a weekend of it. Go shopping at one of our five world-class malls, catch a concert or sporting event at our brand new Charlotte Bobcats Arena or eat at one our many fine dining establishments. As one of the fastest growing regions of the country, Charlotte is a city like no other.
