Applied to Communication Studies … Admitted to University College Undeclared
All students who apply to Communication Studies are admitted
into the University as Pre-communication majors.
Admission into the Communication Studies major requires successful
completion of two courses: Introductory Speech (Communication
1101) and Introduction to Communication Theory (Communication
Studies 2100). Once you have completed these two course prerequisites
with a grade of C or higher and have maintained an overall
2.0 grade point average at UNC Charlotte, you may request
a change of major to the Communication Studies department.
Admission will be granted on a space available basis.
